Tidbits 2.19.14

Kids can say the cutest things.  And then all of a sudden, one day, they wake up and those cute little phrases and words have become grammatically correct.  And gone forever and ever.  Eventually we forget altogether that they ever happened.  So today I want to write down a few of those precious moments that bring a smile to my face, and they are all about Quinn.

Quinn calls his fingernails "koenails".  I am pretty sure he thinks all of his nails are koenails regardless of their location on his body.

Whenever he has an itch on his body (his torso) he dramatically itches and with a wrinkled up face says, "I'm itching my bones".

McDonald's is always...McDaDonalds.  Always.

And what meal do we eat in the morning?  Bresskist.  Yup.  Bress Kist.

At preschool a few weeks ago, at Christmas time, Quinn was learning about Jesus and his birthday.  One day when I picked him up he excitedly ran up to me asking if he could show me baby Jesus.  Of course I replied!  He brought me over to a small wooden nativity and pointed out Jesus.  Our conversation went like this.

Me:  Who is the lady holding baby Jesus?
Quinn: Oh, that's Mary.
Me: And who is the man?  Meaning Joseph..
Quinn: Him's the Daddy.
Me: What about the tall guys in the back? (3Wiseman)
Quinn: Those are the Kings!  See their crowns?
Me: Oh yes, I do.  And what about the two pretty ladies on the sides? (Angels)
Quinn:........quiet for a few seconds.  Then, Oh Mom...those are the tooth fairies!!!!!

Hahaha, I suppose, the did have beautiful sparkly wings and were dressed in white.
