Luke's Birthday Bash

We celebrated our little Lukie's 1st birthday a few weeks ago!  He turned one on September 11th, 2014.  And since Luke and his cousin Brody are just 15 days apart, we celebrated together with a crazy circus themed party!!

The decorations, props and games were A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!

Clown noses anyone???

Yes for Quinn!

Time to feed the elephant some peanuts, so cute.

Or maybe you would like to play a quick game of Plinko?

Paige and Quinn wishing the babies a happy day...

So did Grandma and Tera!

Then there were the boys, Dylan, Cody, Quinn and Greyson.  This picture cracks me up.

And what do you know?  There is a clown arriving!

The babies watched him very closely while he set up and they waited for their cake.

And then he got a little too close.

That was the end of the cake.  The boys wanted out, and nothing to do with that clown, so he decided to start his show.

Paige was the first volunteer!

Then Quinn!

And Mike and Shyan too!

Who doesn't love a little face painting?

And guess what happened next?  A couple of sweet little ponies showed up!

A little lunch...

And a special guest!

We had to at least try for a group shot of all of the kids, do you see the clown in the back?  He snuck in and just oddly stood there.

  It was a pretty fantastic birthday for a kid of any age, let alone a couple of one year olds!

Thank you  to all of our friends and family who came and made their day that much more special!

~~~~~~~~
Since we celebrated with the big party a week earlier, we didn't have any big plans for Lukes actual birthday so I took the kids to the zoo.
I was surprised that I got as many pictures as I did where they were all looking because most of the pictures look like this.  Luke does not like to stay still!
And of course, one more cupcake!
Happy Birthday Little Lukie!!
We Love You!!
