Tidbits 7.1.13

Paige informed me this weekend that she had been doing some thinking and it was time for her to make her mark.  I looked at her suspiciously, and if I knew how, I would have raised my eyebrow at her.  I asked her what she was thinking...she replied that it was important for her to help her community and give back because there are people, lots of people who don't have anything.  I asked her what she was going to do to help and she said...I am going to make dream catchers and sell them at a garage sale for $5 each.   I told her that if she would like to do that, I thought it was a great idea although I am not sure it would necessarily help people in need.  We decided that for now, the very best thing she could do was to be kind, to everyone..always.  Kindness goes a VERY long way.

On another less serious note, as anyone who knows me knows...Target has always held a special place in my heart.  Clearly it has made an impression on Paige as well.  The other day we were at Target and the kids were waiting with the cart for a minute while I used the restroom near the pharmacy.  When I came out Paige told me that while she was waiting a girl was talking to another girl wondering where the sunscreen was.  Paige said to her, "Excuse me, are you looking for the sunscreen?"  The girl replied "Why yes I am!".  Paige informed her that it was right over there, in aisle E4.  Scary or awesome?  Either way, I loved it of course.
